I created this blog as part of a learning program at the library I now work at. The Program is designed to expose people to the new technology and features of the internet such as blogging (Blogger, Xanga, LiveJournal), RSS Feeds, social networking (Facebook, MySpace), podcasting.
So far I am really enjoying it and looking forward to the program. I already know how to use things like a blog and social networking sites but I never know when I am going to learn something new. And who doesn't want an excuse to be able to blog from work?
Most of what I'll be posting is my response to the programs different assignments. I might post some book reviews too though. I love reading and don't mind sharing my opinion on some books. Might as well live up to my name.
